Family run Hotel that really bend over backwards to help you. The hotel is a art gallery and you stay in the middle of all this art work. What more could you ask for. It is very quaint that you have a communal kitchen outdoors in the back of the hotel. You get to meet others guests which is a great touch.
This hotel felt "Mexican", which is getting harder and harder to find! The staff were helpful and friendly - a comfortable experience.
The hotel lived up to its reputation +. It is charming, right on edge of art district, so very handy for Thursday night Art Walk. Room was small, cozy & had wifi connection in the room. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Breakfast is served 8-10 a.m. in courtyard in rear & is included in price. Very tasty. Easy walk to a variety of restaurants, shops. Great location & excellent price.
This was our second stay at the hotel in 3 weeks, as we passed through San Jose Del Cabo twice for flying in and out of Cabo, and were very happy with both experiences. Just in the 3 weeks between out stays, you could tell the hotel owners were still making improvements to the look, feel and functionality of the place, which was great to see. The room price was great, the room was small yet clean and still had a/c and a clean bathroom, the staff was very helpful with every request, the hotel is very close to shopping and either a walk/ride to the beach, and the price even included breakfast. We would recommend this hotel to couples looking to explore the area who don't want to spend a lot on lodging, but want a safe, clean and courteous hotel.
The owner was very welcoming. This hotel is right in the center of the old historic town that is now where the high-end artists sell their art. Great places to eat in the area. The historic church is the center piece of the old town and is located just a few blocks away from the hotel. A mini market is also very close. The kitchen is outdoors and there is some space to store food. Air conditioning was also available. Overall it is a nice place especially for people on a budget.
The rooms were dark. Some additional light and paintings inside the rooms would really brighten up the rooms. Adding a chair to each room would also be nice.
Great location. Rooms were shabby but decent. Bed poorly made, blankets too small. Funky patio that served probably the worst breakfasts we've ever had. Pancakes, weak, tasteless coffee, peel-it-yourself oranges. No options. Yuck. Very unattractive building and ugly
